Collateral is pUSD, a token backed 1:1 by USDC, and every market states its resolution rules and deadline up front.

Types of bets
For games you get moneyline, spread and totals; on top of that there are props, futures and Combos that bundle several outcomes into one ticket, plus multi-outcome markets for tournaments and awards.
On the international exchange, makers pay no fee at all. Takers pay contracts × fee rate × p × (1 − p), with a fee rate between 4% and 7% depending on the category, and there are no deposit or withdrawal fees.
Unique features
Liquidity and range are Polymarket’s edge. Its biggest markets trade millions of dollars, which keeps the spread tight, and LiveTrade lets you trade in and out of positions while a game is on rather than waiting for the final whistle.

Where is Polymarket available?
Polymarket’s international site fully blocks Iran, Syria, Cuba and North Korea. Around thirty further countries, among them the UK, France, Germany, Poland and Thailand, are limited to closing existing positions, and US customers are served by the separate, regulated Polymarket US. On VIP-IBC, Polymarket prices appear in the same betslip as every other connected source.
