Incorporated in 2014, the company describes itself as a software intermediary: it is never a party to the bets, which are matched with the connected bookmakers or, through Molly Exchange, with other players.

Types of bets
Molly Exchange supports back and lay orders: back an outcome, or lay it and take the opposite side. On the exchange betslip you see the best, median and total prices available across all sources before you confirm, together with your stake at price and your possible return.
The markets follow the platform’s main lines, such as 1X2, Asian handicaps and totals, and accumulators of up to 10 legs are available for pre-game soccer, basketball, American football and baseball events.

You set the odds you want and an expiry time between 5 seconds and 72 hours, and the software keeps scanning the market and fires the bet the moment a price matches. Dark orders take this a step further: for bets over £500 your odds and stake stay hidden from other customers, and you can set a minimum order size before anyone can match you.
